The Laurel High School Student Council recently wore white to bring recognition to National Suicide Prevention Day, which is set aside each year to help raise awareness and prevention of teen suicide. Laurel High School’s Kimberton Mai recently received the Mississippi High School Activities Association District Five Lindy Callahan Scholar Athlete Award for his dedication to the soccer, football, golf and tennis teams while maintaining highest honors in academics.Sixteen seniors from across the state were selected as Lindy Callahan Scholar-Athletes for 2018.
