LHS Career and Technical Center hosts successful Kid Connection Day

The Laurel High School Career and Technical Center recently hosted Kid Connection Day. The event provided the opportunity for children to participate in a variety of hands-on activities assisted by teachers and students from the school's vocational programs. The CTC Child Care programs sponsored an arts and crafts station, and Health Science hosted a well doll clinic. In Culinary Arts, the children made their own pizzas and at the station hosted by the Welding and Construction programs the children created a woodwork project. Each child that participated had the opportunity to participate in each of the activities and received a t-shirt. The CTC plans to make Kid Connection Day and annual event.
